America for Animals is looking for an enthusiastic volunteer with strong writing skills to help us promote animal welfare. This role will include some combination of...

• Writing and editing Internal Newsletter for Volunteers, finding exciting topics and news about Animal welfare, writing a post about selected Volunteer of the Month, posting existing openings and so on
• Administering submission of Volunteer hours
• Managing Volunteer Retention Strategy
• Promoting communication between groups

• Strong writing and editing skills
• An eagerness to learn about animal welfare issues
• Strategic thinking
• Background in communication and experience with outreach work

• A team player
• Quick turnaround on emails
• The ability to thrive in a virtual work environment
• A positive, proactive attitude and a desire to help animals
• Must provide a writing sample
• A minimum of 5 hours/week (more welcome!)
