Our 23rd Annual Kent Bike/Hike/Run Event for Cerebral Palsy Research needs some experienced photographers to capture the excitement! The event is family-friendly and we usually have about 100 participants.
About 85% of the funds raised go directly to cerebral palsy research - more than $1 million so far!
Lunch included for all volunteers!

You would take photos of volunteers helping participants register at Stanton Middle School. Then you would drive to the rest stop(s) to take more photos of cyclists biking and taking a break. After that, you can go back to Stanton, enjoy lunch and music, and take some more pics of the happy, accomplished riders.

The Pedal with Pete Foundation is a philanthropic organization, dedicated to raising funds for research to improve the quality of life for persons with cerebral palsy.
Description
In 1993, the Pedal-With-Pete Foundation was established to raise money for research to help prevent, treat, and even cure the effects of cerebral palsy. The Pedal-with-Pete Foundation annually moderates three charity cycling and walking events in the midwest:
Kent, Ohio
Columbus, Ohio
Emmetsburg, Iowa
With the dollars we raise, we award grants to researchers from around the world who do ground-breaking work to improve the lives of people with CP. Our grants range from $25,000 to $35,000, and tend to be seed-funding that might lead to larger grants by organizations like the NIH or CDC. Our grants are vital for kick-starting promising efforts that will really change lives.
As an all-volunteer organization, your time volunteering for Pedal-with-Pete is GREATLY appreciated by the participants, the researchers, and especially, by the millions of people worldwide who benefit from the research you help to fund!
