Omaha Home for Boys (OHB) currently has a need for virtual tutors for upper level math and science at the high school level. Tutors will work one-on-one with young men attending the Omaha Home for Boys School or may tutor small groups of students. Volunteers will be working with high school age boys who are below average or in the lower extreme based on academic assessments.
Tutoring will take place virtually via Zoom.
HOURS
During the traditional school year (August through May), tutoring would be best during the afternoon hours, but morning hours could work as well. During summer school (June and July) tutoring would be in the morning.
The time commitment is very flexible. As long as you have a little time and a lot of patience and heart, we can work out a schedule that works for both of us.
