Clinica Colorado is looking for dedicated board members who have a passion for decreasing disparities in healthcare, and increasing access to high quality, affordable, equitable primary care services for the underserved. Especially the uninsured, Hispanic community.

Our board meets 10-12 times per year (virtually at this time) to ensure governance and fiscal oversight, along with strategically setting objectives to complete our mission.

We are seeking individuals with expertise in
1. Fundraising/Development
2. Marketing/Communications/Social Media
3. Finance/Non-Profit Accounting
4. Partnership Building
5. Equity work (Justice, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion)
6. Primary Care/Community Health

Board terms are three years, with the ability to renew twice, for a total of 9 years. We are dedicated to creating a board of directors that are not only passionate about community health, but are also culturally connected to our patient population.

Clinica Colorado provides equitable primary health care and resources to those with limited access across Colorado. Our vision is to improve people's lives by having affordable, quality health care accessible to all.

Description

Clinica Colorado provides primary health care and mental health care including: prenatal services, chronic and acute care, minor surgery, well-woman/man/child exams, immunizations and vaccinations, cancer screenings including mammograms, pap smears, and other services that support uninsured, low-income persons. Our patient population is largely Hispanic/Latino and 92% of our patients fall at 200% or below the federal poverty level. Our belief is that heath care is a human right.
