We are seeking a talented, enthusiastic Web Designer to forward our mission, and grow as members of a team. In this internship, you will manage websites for Interlock and its documentary films. We are looking for someone who is both proficient in front-end layout and has some back-end coding experience as well.
Schedule: Minimum of 12 hrs/wk
Compensation: Unpaid/Apprentice
Location: Convenient to public transportation and Kendall Square
On site or offsite.
Job Type: Volunteer; non-profit. 4 month commitment
Experience:
The ideal applicant has an interest in developing a solid website with a good eye for layout design and usability. Best of all would be experience creating and managing websites with particular emphasis on the integration of graphic designs, social media, and video. Proficiency in WordPress, HTML, CSS, Adobe Creative Suite, JavaScript and PHP are a definite plus.
Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude are ideal. Applicant should possess the ability to work independently, remain flexible and take initiative in a resource-limited environment.

Description
Interns participate in all aspects of film and media production, including: research writing coordination of crews participation in shoots participation in film editing scriptwriting production of print materials any task that may arise
Salary: None Qualifications:
Interns must have strong communication skills, a desire to learn, and a pro-active attitude. The following skills and experience are preferred, but not required: superior writings skills technical ability computer skills (mac platform) experience with camera, lighting, or other gear.
