PLACEMENT PURPOSE
The Disaster Health Services Chapter Lead is responsible for coordinating disaster health services support during local responses, for leading and building a team of disaster health services responders, for collaborating with other disaster responders and assisting the chapter in developing local partnerships.
OPEN TIME DAYS
Varies depending on local disaster events; minimum 20 hours per month
Required:
Disaster Cycle Services: An OverviewCPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer (AHA accepted)
Health Services Fundamentals 1
Health Services Fundamentals 2
Casework and Recovery Planning Fundamentals
Psychological First Aid
Direct Client Assistance Fundamentals
