Communities in Schools of Tacoma is looking for dedicated volunteers for our All-Star Reader Program! Volunteers act as a one-on-one reading tutors to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade students who are struggling with reaching their grade level in reading. You will be paired with a student and together you will work through their Sound Reading Solutions Kit designed to help struggling students reach their reading potential.
The program takes place after school every Tuesday from 3:45 - 4:45 PM. Volunteer and help make a difference in a child's education today!

Description
Communities In Schools is part of the 5th largest youth development organization in the country. We are the only ones proven to increase graduation rates AND decrease dropout rates.
We serve as the bridge between the student and the community, bringing in resources that help break down the barriers that students have to be successful in school.
