Are you a Veteran? Would you be able to help a fellow Veteran at the end of life? Amedisys Hospice of Richmond seeks caring, compassionate Veterans who would be willing to spend time with our patients and families. End of life needs for Veterans are different than non-Veterans. These volunteers play an important role in providing social support and decreasing isolation that can so often occur at the end of life.
Veteran Volunteers are provided specialized orientation and training and work flexible hours that suit their individual schedules.

We provide quality end of life hospice services to the patient and their family. This occurrs in the patient's place of residence, be it an assisted living facility, skilled nursing facility, or private residence.
