R H Johnson library of Sun City West is looking for a Friday 12:30 to 4PM volunteer who can:
- Must be available Fridays, PM shift from 12:30 to 4 PM
- Use the computer to check materials (books, puzzles etc.) in and out, to patrons,
- Push heavy carts loaded with books for purpose of shelving
- Stoop, stand and bend in order to reach high and low shelfs
- Read fine print on membership cards, barcodes and spine labels
- Handle money to make change in payment of fines, renew Friends of Library membership and sale of books and puzzles
- Familiarize themselves with various handouts to answer patrons questions and/or assist with filling out forms
- Become knowledgeable with other library departments in order to redirect patrons for ideal customer service
- Be good listeners, patient, kind and make eye contact and have a sunny disposition
- Must have a valid Sun City West Recreation Card
- Either full time or seasonal resident accepted
