Fists

National Pancreatic Cancer Advocacy Day is the largest single national gathering of people committed to fighting pancreatic cancer. Hundreds of passionate members of the pancreatic cancer community will unite together in our nation's capital to urge Congress to make cancer research a national priority.

During this powerful two-day experience, you will:

  • Connect with other members of the pancreatic cancer community who, like you, have been touched by this disease
  • Learn how to tell your story and educate Congress about the urgent need for increased funding for cancer research
  • Attend group meetings with your members of Congress and Wage Hope on Capitol Hill
  • Receive comprehensive advocacy training direct from Washington, D.C. professionals
  • Learn about advances in the field from top researchers

Mission Statement

The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network is a nationwide network of people dedicated to working together to advance research, support patients and create hope for those affected by pancreatic cancer.

Description

The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network is the only national organization creating hope in a comprehensive way through research, patient support, community outreach and advocacy for a cure. The organization raises money for direct private funding of research--and advocates for more aggressive federal research funding of medical breakthroughs in prevention, diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic cancer.

The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network fills the void of information and options by giving patients and caregivers reliable, personalized information they need to make informed decisions. We create a sense of hope and community so no one has to face pancreatic cancer alone. The organization helps support individuals and communities all across the country work together to raise awareness and funds to find a cure for pancreatic cancer.
