PATH (People Assisting The Homeless) is in need of volunteers for our second annual Making It Home Tour- a celebration of home and the spirit of the Santa Barbara community. The event is on Saturday, June 9th, 2018, and includes a guided tour through luxury area homes, and a reception in downtown Santa Barbara. All proceeds from this fundraising event go directly towards PATH's mission to end homelessness for individuals, families, and communities. We need volunteers to support on the day of the event, and with event planning and coordination leading up to the event! If you are looking to gain experience with a nonprofit organization, event preparation, and volunteer coordination, we have a great opportunity for you!

Our mission is to assist homeless individuals achieve self-sufficiency, by helping as many as possible access the services they need to transition to stable employment and housing.
PATH Santa Barbara is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Offering a wide array of services for the homeless, with an emphasis on both emotional and physical health, 12 different program partners collaborate to bring recovery to the homeless -- all under one roof.
Description
PATH Santa Barbara offers day services for anyone in need, which includes access to hot meals, showers, medical care, drug and alcohol counseling, employment development, and housing assistance. We offer a transitional living facility that has 70 beds as well as 30 medical respite beds for the more fragile and vulnerable.
