We are looking for a videographer to help us capture footage from our gleanings as well as conversations with our farmers, agencies and those who receive our produce. Volunteer needs to provide their own equipment but will be working alongside our staff during filming. Skills and experience with editing and producing would be a great addition to our project!
This will be a creative and fun way to engage our audience and grow our presence in the community. Contact mariah@aftertheharvestkc.org or 816-921-1903 for more information on how to get involved!
After the Harvest rescues nutritious fruits and vegetables from going to waste and donates them to agencies that serve hungry people , primarily in Greater Kansas City. Our volunteers glean after the harvest, picking what’s left in farmers’ fields and picking up already harvested leftover produce. The majority of the funds we raise helps secure semi-truckloads of donated produce that might otherwise end up in landfills. After the Harvest, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is the largest produce donor to Harvesters-The Community Food Network.
