The Health Coverage Guide volunteer provides enrollment assistance on the Connect for Health Colorado Exchange as well as health insurance literacy education to Connect to Coverage clients. The volunteer will be trained and supported by Doctors Care staff. Will work as part of a great team of volunteers assisting clients with better health access.

DOCTORS CARE CLINIC
The clinic operates five days per week providing quality, affordable sick and wellcare visits to children and young adults age 33 and under. 720-458-6161
ACCESS FOR THE UNINSURED
Doctors Care provides assistance to individuals who have an urgent medical need, but do not immediately qualify for affordable health coverage. Access for the Uninsured patients pay reduced costs for medical assistance based on their income. A network of nearly 1,000 primary and specialty care providers as well as six major medical centers in South Metro Denver participate in the program. 720-458-6222
CONNECTION TO COVERAGE
Doctors Care is committed to helping individuals and families obtain free or low-cost health coverage. Our certified health coverage guides are available to help patients apply for Medicaid, tax-credits for private plans, and other financial assistance in getting coverage. Doctors Care is a Connect for Health Colorado Assistance Site and a Certified Medicaid Application Assistance Site.

HEALTH NAVIGATION
Doctors Care Navigators help people identify and solve problems that may
be preventing them from living a healthy lifestyle. They can provide connections to a variety of services and resources including applying for Medicaid, food or shelter assistance, finding a doctor, finding affordable medications and understanding a health insurance policy. 720-458-6178 or navigation@doctorscare.org
