Divine Truth Ministry is at a cross-road as an organization that with specialized volunteers, we could substantially increase our impact on individuals and families struggling in
New York City. The main areas that we could utilize volunteers are assisting with our community outreach and food preparation.
We are in need of volunteers to assist in updating our website, blog, and social media. Our staff, board, and volunteers are currently doing everything possible to make our programs as strong as we possibly can. However, this has not left time for us to build a presence online that demonstrates the level of impact that we are making in the community. We believe this is not only important to inform potential clients but equally important for our organization to be seen as a dynamic agent of change by potential funders and services partners in the community.

Divine Truth Ministry mission is to improve the quality of life for people in need through community outreach programs.
Description
Divine Truth Ministry is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that serves the most vulnerable residents of New York City, specifically in the borough of Queens. In 2015, Founder Soline Celestin and a group of dedicated volunteers witnessed a growing number of their neighbors that were living paycheck to paycheck and many were unable to financially stay in stable housing in the community. They saw a need for an organization that would step up with a helping hand in times of need.
Divine Truth Ministry has created a place of refuge for all those who need it. Although, Divine Truth Ministry is a spiritual organization, our impact is beyond the walls of any one building. Our organization is immersed in the fabric of our New York City community and we view each and every day as an opportunity for us to help families and individuals who are struggling to get by. By providing food, health services, and financial assistance to those in need provides a basic tool to get back on their feet.
