Come join us. Be a mentor. Reach and Rise mentoring supports youth ages 8 to 17 who lack role models. With a positive attitude and just by being you, you can help a child. Some children just need a buddy. A few young people are in communities challenged by poverty, crime and single-parent households, among other social issues. You can change a life. As a one-on-one mentor, you can provide a positive and consistent relationship with a young person, helping to improve your mentee's self-esteem, decision-making skills, and interpersonal relationships. This is a volunteer position to help youth. The program recommends a 1-3 hour(s) per week meeting with a young person in Pike County.
We hope to change children's lives with mentoring, support and guidance.
We are offering free mentor training. Contact us for dates.
