Arbor Hospice and Hospice of Michigan are seeking to spruce up the gardens surrounding the corporate headquarters maintaining a lasting and sustainable healing garden. We are seeking groups of volunteers interested in donating their time.
Healing Gardens have been proven to provide health and wellbeing to those who seek them. Our Master Gardener created a healing walk for those suffering from grief, depression, and/or stress. In addition, we have two small ponds, a Monarch waystation, an herb garden, a Veteran's Memorial garden and more.
In today's busy world, we all need to connect with nature. At Arbor Hospice and Hospice of Michigan we believe in creating a healing space for our employees who serve those at the end of life and in creating a healing space for all of those who seek solace on our grounds.
If you are interested in making a difference in the Ann Arbor community and maintaining a lasting space to be enjoyed into the future, please consider contacting us. We are a non-profit organization which has been providing care to those who need us for 30 years.

Our staff - Our dedicated doctors, nurses, social workers, counselors and hospice aides form a "cocoon of care" around our patients and families, providing comfort, support and dignity.
Our expertise - Because we are one of the largest hospices in the nation, we have specialists in many areas, including pediatric hospice, pain management, research and care for people with advanced dementia and other illnesses.
Our experience - We have been serving our communities for more than 30 years. Among our 600 employees, we have more board-certified hospice physicians and nurses than other hospices.
Our locations - We have offices and worksites throughout the Lower Peninsula of Michigan. Wherever you are, we have a team of hospice specialists who can help you.
Our commitment - We care for all who need and seek our care, regardless of their age, diagnosis or ability to pay. We are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for our patients and families and for admissions.
Our size - We serve nearly 800 patients and their families every day; nearly one in four hospice patients in Michigan.
