Adult Volunteer opportunities are available to help educate and prepare economically disadvantaged youth with the soft skills needed to be employed. Volunteers will provide job readiness training teens ages 14-17 with a class size of 5 to 15 students. The Volunteer Instructor will be responsible for learning the material and teaching a 1 1/2 hour course on a specific career development topic: Work Ethics, Professionalism, Character Development, Resume Writing, Interviewing Techniques, Customer Service, Effective Communication, and Money Management.

Qualifications:

Excellent communication skills

Prior experience working with youth

Professional appearance and demeanor

Requirements:

Background Check

Must be at least 18

2 hours whenever the program is scheduled
