The Fredericksburg Area Museum is a dynamic non-profit museum in the heart of downtown Fredericksburg. We have 10,000 years of objects reflecting life and culture in our beautiful river town. We are a volunteer based and have different opportunities for those interested in becoming part of a fun and enthusiastic team. We are looking for Visitor Services support, as well as help with our many special events that we promote throughout the year.

The Museum actively strives to fulfill its role of responsible stewardship through increased accessibility, both physical and electronic, to the collection in order to inform and educate those who seek an understanding of their past and its relevance to today.
