The Carroll Hospital Auxiliary is seeking volunteers for its retial shops, located on the Carroll Hospital campus and at Integrace Fairhaven in Sykesville, MD.
On the hospital campus, volunteers would work in the Candy Striper Gift Shop, located in the main lobby; the Wellness Boutique, located inside the Tevis Center for Wellness; as well at the The White Rabbit Thrift Shop, located on the corner of Washington Road and Stoner Avenue.
Volunteers are also being sought for The Candy Striper Junior, located inside the Fisher Medical Building at 193 Stoner Avenue, and for the newest retail shop addition, Beasman Boutique located at the Integrace Fairhaven in Sykesville, MD.
Volunteers assist customers as they shop the selection of home decor, plush toys, wellness and therapy items, clothing, books, fresh flowers, jewelry and accessories. Other opportunities include helping with merchandising, creating window displays and more. Proceeds from the Auxiliary's retail locations support Carroll Hospital. Previous experience is helpful but not required. Training will be provided.

At Carroll Hospital, more than 270 community members are part of the hospital Volunteer Services. Volunteer Servicees promotes and advance s the welfare of the hospital through volunteer service and fundraising. Volunteers dedicate their time, talents and resources to help Carroll Hospital offer the highest quality healthcare to the community. Many of those volunteers serve on the committees for our events or retail operations and ensure their success year after year.
