Destined for Greatness Outreach Youth Center will be having our 2nd Shoe Drive on Saturday, May 27th, 2017 from 11am-3pm. This is a fundraiser event to fill a van to buy a van for our youth. This fundraiser is so different than asking for money or selling things. We are asking everyone to support us by collecting 25 pairs of gently worn, used, and new shoes to help us fill a bag towards our goal of 300 bags which the GOAL IS 7500 shoes BY June 15th. The shoes themselves go to support micro enterprises in 25 different countries all around the world. These programs pull people out of poverty and provide shoes for people who otherwise would never have access to quality footwerar.
Please join us our youth as we collect shoes. It will be held at the Mall Westend located 850 Oak Street SW, Atlanta, GA 30314 on the parking lot. We will also be giving out FREE food to the community.

Destined for Greatness Outreach Youth Center, Inc. (DFGOYC) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization developed as a solution to the need for youth empowerment programs within the Greater Atlanta area. Founded in June 2010, DFGOYC provides mentoring programs and the necessary tools to assist the next generation with a place of safety to build character and development goals. DFGOYC programs and services are directed toward at-risk, drop-out and non-at-risk youth to promote community empowerment, personal and professional development and social independence.
DFGOYC provides mentoring, after school tutorial and study, trade school, work study, youth fitness, sports, and music programs for elementary, middle and high school youth (ages 8-21) in the Metro Atlanta area.
