ORGANIZATION: Children's Home Society of FL

  • 1 person is interested

Children's Home Society of Florida's BRIDGES Program is partnering with schools and day care centers to provide six - one hour workshops once a week for parents of elementary school children. There wil be up to 20 participants in each session.

The purpose is to teach strategies to help students maintain their reading levels during the summer.

The curriculum is designed by the schools so preferably volunteers who are current or former educators.

The sessions are offered in the morning and evening. If possible, it would be wonderful to have the same facilitator per topic. but if you can only do evenings or mornings, that is fine, too.
