Locations: Manchester, CT
Hours: Tuesday evenings
Duration: Seasonal, 8-week sessions
Desired level of commitment: Full 8-week session
Age requirement: 16
Tasks may include:
* Supervise and engage with young children (8 months- 7 years of age)
* Make a craft or lead an activity with young children
* Set up and clean up children's area
In order to volunteer you should be:
* A registered Urban Alliance volunteer (you will have the chance to if you haven't already)
* Open to an ongoing volunteer commitment that works with your schedule
* Willing to attend an orientation and submit a BHF volunteer orientation
* Willing to comply with host site children's program of service and policies for child safety
* Willing to interact with others
* Responsible
* Friendly

* Patient
* Honest
* Very dependable
* Experienced with child care
A background check will be required to be placed with this volunteer opportunity.
