Road to Recovery is an American Cancer Society program that provides transportation for cancer patients to and from medical/treatment appointments. Rides are provided by volunteer drivers who donate their time and the use of their personal vehicle or drive and ACS owned vehicle where available. This opportunity is for the following counties: Lackawanna County, Wayne, Pike, Susquehanna, Wyoming, Carbon, Schuylkill, Monroe, Luzerne, Lehigh, Northampton,and Berks Counties. The schedule is flexible so the drivers can select the days and times when they want to volunteer. Please call 1-800-227-2345 to learn more or log onto www.cancer.org
