SAFER St. Lucie is in need of general volunteers. Volunteers can assist with paperwork, attend monthly meetings, receive disaster education training from FEMA and other sources. SAFER provides volunteers the ability to network and volunteer with our 25 partner agencies as well. Volunteers may be called upon to respond in times of disaster.

Description

SAFER St. Lucie is a humanitarian collaboration of businesses, governments, non-profits and faith based organizations that are all active in all stages of the disaster cycle. SAFER's mission is to educate the community on disaster preparedness/ resiliency help those who are disabled, elderly or impoverished by meeting the unmet needs of disaster survivors by coordination of our 35 partner agencies and volunteers.

In times of disaster, services can include finding funding, help with SBA/ FEMA documentation, debris removal, major and minor home repair as well as assistance in finding emergency cas, emergency food stamps and etc.

SAFER is 100% grant and donation funded and does not charge for any services.
