ProHealth Hospice is seeking friendly volunteers/companions for our patients in the Sacramento area (and surrounding cities).
As a Hospice volunteer, you know you’re making a difference. You’ll gain a sense of satisfaction knowing you've improved the quality of life for someone else. You will feel rewarded with the joy and comfort you bring to others during the most sensitive stage of their life.
How you can make a difference:
- Simply just being there to listen to a patient's concerns, fears and personal stories
- Reading a book, listening to music, assist with writing, playing games
- Assist with Arts and Craft Projects
- Providing companionship
- Caregiver relief sitting
- And more...
