Novant Health Hospice is in need of outpatient volunteers living in the Indian Trail, Mint Hill, Monroe and Waxhaw communities to support our patients and caregivers.
This role provides the opportunity to visit with our patients to provide companionship and conversation, as well as respite support for our caregivers so they can leave the home, run errands, etc.

Providing care for a loved one who is sick and can no longer look after themselves can be one of the biggest challenges a family has to face. Our hospice care specialists provide care for terminally ill patients and their families. We know how sensitive these times may be, and our goal is to provide patients and their families with effective healthcare that will improve the quality of a patient’s last days.
We provide an individualized treatment plan to comfortably manage pain and physical symptoms of each need a patient may have. Our team is made of doctors, nurses, medical social workers, chaplains, grief counselors, and volunteers that work together to help patients live life as comfortably and fulfilled as possible.
