It takes dozens of volunteers to pull off Pride Portland!'s annual parade. Help organizing floats and participants, blocking off streets and directing traffic are just a few of the moving pieces that our volunteers oversee.
Starting in downtown Portland, Maine's Monument Square and ending at Deering Oaks Park, the Parade leads directly to the site of the Pride Festival.

Pride Portland! is a celebration of Portland, Maine’s LGBTQIA -- lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer/questioning, intersex, ally/asexual community. Our goal is to bring people together to celebrate the achievements of the LGBTQA movement, remember our history and raise awareness of the work that still needs to be done. Fostering and honoring inclusivity, diversity and unity, Pride Portland! builds stronger connections amongst individuals, organizations and businesses.
