Mission Statement
The World Literacy Foundation is a USA registered independent charitable organization 501(c)(3). Our primary objective is to address the growing rate of illiteracy in disadvantaged communities, specifically among children from low income backgrounds. We believe that reading in the early years is vital to unlocking the door to a life of learning and overcoming poverty. Through our programs, at-risk children are getting the support they desperately need to not only learn to read, but build confidence and believe in their ability to succeed at school and in life.
