The primary responsibilities of the Event Check-In Volunteer (1 needed) are:

1. Help set-up and take down tent or tables

2. Greet Race Participants and Volunteers.

3. Direct Volunteers & pre-registered to the Pavilion to check-in.

4. Sort pre-registered participants in two lines, 1 A-L and 1 M-Z.

5. Direct non-registered runners to day-of registration table.

6. Take over checking in pre-registered participants as back-up if needed.

The primary responsibilities of the Packet Pick-Up Volunteers (3 needed) are:

1. Set up and take down tent or tables and putting out event bags/packets.
2. Assist Check-in with retrieving Event packets for participants checking in.
3. 3 volunteers needed (1 for A-L & 1 for M-Z and 1 for Day-Of Registration)
4. Give everyone Heat schedule card with packet.

Mission Statement

To provide support with training costs and much needed equipment through donations to law enforcement professionals, including K9 officers in need.

Description

We are a 501c3 non-profit foundation started in 2014 and based in Rochester, MI aimed at supporting law enforcement officers, including K9 officers, by offering them much needed equipment and departmental training that otherwise may not be afforded to them. Our current initiative is raising funds to purchase K9 bullet-proof vests for K9 Officers in the Metro Detroit area.
