Join Rock Creek Conservancy for a volunteer invasive removal event in the Normanstone section of Rock Creek Park
Event Activity: Volunteers will remove invasive plant species and vines climbing trees in Normanstone.
When: Saturday, May 6, 2017 from 09:00 am to 12:00 pm
Location: Normanstone - Volunteers will meet at the entrance of Normanstone Trail near the intersection of Normanstone Drive NW and Rock Creek Drive NW.
What to Wear: Please dress appropriately for the field work. Wear sturdy boots or sneakers, no sandals. We recommend long pants and sleeves to prevent contact with poison ivy and ticks.
What to Bring: Bring water. Tools and gloves will be provided. Feel free to bring your own tools and gloves if you have them.
