Amedisys Hospice of Richmond, seeks caring, compassionate individuals who are willing to spend time with our patients and their families. These visits take place where the patient lives be it an individual residence, assisted living facility or skilled nursing facility. Volunteers play an important role in providing social support and decreasing isolation that can so often occur.
Volunteers are provided orientation and training and work flexible hours that suit their individual schedules.
Prior to service, volunteers complete background check, 2-Step TB screening and reference check.
