Function of Organization: Planned Parenthood Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota is a trusted provider of affordable reproductive health care services, education and advocacy for women, men, teens and families. We are a non-profit community-based organization whose volunteers help fulfill our mission to affirm human rights to reproductive health and freedom.
General Description: This position is great for people who would like to volunteer on an as-needed basis. As an Event Photographer, you will take pictures and/or videos of Planned Parenthood rallies, fundraisers, and events. This position is essential for sharing our work with news media and social media on local, state, and national levels.
Specific Duties:
* Take photos of volunteers, supporters, and staff at Planned Parenthood events
* Send high quality photos to ND Manager of Public Affairs in a timely manner
Preferred Qualifications:
* Owns camera capable of taking high resolution photos
* Can quickly transfer photos and/or videos to PPMNS staff contact
* Experience taking and editing photos/videos preferred but not required
* Ability to maintain confidential information
* Supports Planned Parenthood’s mission
Commitment:
* Varies - evening, daytime, and weekend shifts available
* Will be informed of event schedule ahead of time
Location: Fargo/Moorhead area; throughout North Dakota
