Sunday Streets seeks enthusiastic and energetic volunteers for a Car-Free Street Event

It takes hundreds of energetic and dedicated volunteers to make each Sunday Streets season possible. From neighborhood outreach and noticing before each event, to staffing intersections and monitoring the route during the event, volunteers help keep Sunday Streets running and make each event safe and fun for thousands of San Franciscans! We couldn't do it without you! Volunteers are the heart and soul of Sunday Streets!

Sunday Streets is looking for volunteers for the following positions:

• Route & Safety TeamResponsibilities: assist with setup/breakdown, cross traffic intersections and local access supervision, barricade/signage maintenance
• Jobs: Route & Safety Captain, Intersection/Local Access Monitor (Referee), Setup/Breakdown Crew
• Hub Team Responsibilities: assist with exhibitor check-in/out, volunteer check-in/out, sales and donations, outreach activities
• Jobs: Hub Captain, Volunteer Captain, Merchandise Volunteer, Theme Zone Crew

Groups of 6 or more are welcomed to join as any of the above or through our Adopt-an-Intersection program.

Shifts:

- ALL DAY: 9:30AM - 4:30PM

- MORNING: 10:30AM - 4:30PM - MID: 12:M - 2:00PM - AFTERNOON: 1:30PM - 4:30PM

Set Up Crew - 9:30 am - 12:00 pm Breakdown Crew - 2:00 pm- 4:30 pm

Perks (Individual) - All volunteers receive a Sunday Street Volunteer Shirt - FREE Lunch! - Training/ Orientation

• A 5 minute Orientation/Training will be held the day of the event.*

Perks (Group of 6 or more) - All volunteers receive a Sunday Street Volunteer Shirt - FREE Lunch! - 20% off on merchandise

Sunday Streets is a program of the nonprofit Livable City presented in partnership with the SFMTA, San Francisco Department of Public Health, and the City and County of San Francisco.
