ORGANIZATION: Bleeding Disorders Foundation of Florida

The Hemophilia Foundation of Greater Florida is looking for event volunteers to assist with our annual Tampa fundraising walk, the Woodstock Walk for Bleeding Disorders, taking place on May 13, 2017 at Al Lopez Park. Shifts begin at 6:30 a.m. and we anticipate the event ending no later than 10:30 a.m. We are in need of volunteers to assist with set-up, break-down, registration, check-in, the kid's table, and several cheering stations for our walkers.

About the Walk:

The HFGF Woodstock Walk for Bleeding Disorders is a healthy, far out, and effective way to show your support for all those living with hemophilia or other related bleeding disorders. Join us for a walk around the beautiful Al Lopez Park in Tampa in your best 1960s/1970s Hippie costume and raise funds for HFGF! All funds raised help fulfill our mission to improve the quality of life for people with bleeding disorders and their families through education, information and referral services, advocacy and research.

As a 501c3 nonprofit organization we offer programs and services to the bleeding disorder community such as a medically-supervised summer camp for kids, a family retreat weekend, scholarship program, information and referral services, educational programs and support groups.
