We need help reaching out to schools and companies in the Westchester NY area to persuade them to run "in house" pet food drives for us or include us in their database of groups they approve to recieve funds from their various fundraisers for outside groups throughout the year.
No experience necessary ! Just a friendly voice and a willingness to make phone calls.

Mission Statement
The Hudson Valley Pet Food Pantry's mission is to help provide pet food assistance to economically challenged, disabled and elderly residents of the Hudson Valley region in New York.
Description
The Hudson Valley Pet Food Pantry was founded in 2010 as a non-profit organization. It was established to help individuals and families who need assistance with feeding their pets because of job loss or other hardship. We offer assistance to fixed-income senior citizens, the disabled, veterans, and others who qualify because they lack the financial resources to properly feed their pets.
The HVPFP also assists animal shelters and rescue groups as the quantity of our food supplies permits. We distribute food in boxes, bags and cans for dogs, cats, birds, rabbits and some other domestic pets.
As of February 2014, we are currently assisting nearly 300 households in the Westchester, NY area, providing food for more than 700 companion animals.
