Patient Visitor Volunteers are needed in the Pittsburgh North area for Kindred Hospice. As a Patient Visitor Volunteer you would visit our patients at a nursing facility or in their home. During your visit you would provide companionship and socialization. You can read a book, watch a patient's favorite t.v. show with them, play card or board games, talk - take a walk down memory lane or take them to facility activities.
Our Patient Visitor Volunteers also sit with our patients so that their caregiver can run to the store or appointments.
