Energy Markets Researcher Needed for Solar Resiliency at Community Centers

Global Green has built two pioneering solar resiliency projects in New York City, including the first solar + battery project at a New York City community center. The project is at the Red Hook Recreation Center in Brooklyn and featured in this video here:

Following our education and demonstration programs, we're seeking to advise other commuity centers how they can adopt similar programs. Global Green is seeking help from a researcher to model a) incentives b) demand charges and other factors to see where and how solar resiliency programs can be cost effective for community centers to adopt similar programs.

Global Green has influenced more than $20 billion dollars worth of building construction by encouraging the integration of green building and sustainability practices, and we’ve educated millions of people about climate-friendly solutions through our five annual events, including the green event of the year, our Pre-Oscar Party. Our impact has been felt across the country, particularly in areas affected by disasters such as Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans where we led green rebuilding efforts and continue to provide assistance and resources to local residents.
