- Bring a meal and serve to youth in dining area
- Utilize stove top or oven to warm food brought to the center
- Complete basic kitchen clean up
- Approximately 2-3 hours for setup, serve, and cleanup
- Great team building activity for corporate groups or community organizations
- Select a day between Monday through Friday; time is 9:30A-12:30P

Description
Tumbleweed Center for Youth Development is a private, nonprofit agency founded in 1972 by Soroptimist International of Phoenix to provide emergency shelter and services for runaway and homeless youth. The mission of Tumbleweed Center for Youth Development is to provide a safe space for collaborating with youth and young adults in our community who are vulnerable or experiencing homelessness. These safe spaces will allow access to caring relationships, resources, and programs that offer opportunities for young people to develop their individual potential
Population served: Homeless, abused, abandoned, neglected and at-risk youth ages 12-25 residing in Maricopa County.
