Do you care about individuals living in poverty? Do you care about childhood hunger? Do you want to provide resources for children, seniors and/or at risk populations?
If you answered yes, Mayfest Community Outreach Day is a great opportunity for YOU!
During the event, we will offer free HIV testing, blood pressure and diabetes screening, and general health educaiton as well as provide housing, substance abuse and domestic violence resources and services that are beneficial to at-risk youth and our vulnerable senior citizen population.
Our Mayfest Community Outreach Day will include:
- A community barbecue cook-off
- Local organizations and businesses
- Free health screenings and education
- Employment opportunities
- Entertainment for children and families
We are looking for eager individuals to register participants, help serve food, facilitate games and activities for children, etc.
