This is a one-time opportunity for volunteers to assist with cleaning up the grounds of Chartiers' residential program for seniors. The opportunity will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 31st. Come celebrate Halloween early with us! Grounds clean-up includes cleaning up flower beds and a butterfly garden, laying mulch, trimming hedges and general sprucing up of the area. The program sits on top of a hill and provides a nice environment for the senior residents to enjoy. Many of the residents go out for walks and enjoy the view from the porch. As mentioned this is a one-time opportunity that will take approximately 4-6 hours depending on the number of volunteers. This is a great volunteer opportunity for companies or groups who enjoy working outdoors. Some tools are available but volunteers are always encouraged to bring their own. Lunch will be provided.
The project will be reviewed with the group leader before starting.

All calls go through the intake specialist to determine need and severity of each case.
