Best Buddies’ Rochester is hosting our first ever Friendship Walk on May 6, 2017 at Genesee Valley Park, Rochester NY. The event will bring together over 300 hundred students, community groups, and corporate teams from Western New York to walk together to change lives - one step at a time. Proceeds from the Best Buddies Friendship Walk will play a key role in funding our local programs which provide one-to-one friendships, leadership development and opportunities for people with IDD.
We are looking for volunteers to help us with a variety of day of event activities such as set-up, route marking and marshalling, registration, cooking, games, etc. We will start with set-up at 7am and all activities and clean up should be concluded by 2pm.
