Pets provide acceptance, friendship and unconditional love to residents who are socially withdrawn, depressed or have dementia. Bring your cat or dog so residents can touch, be present with, and reminisce about their own pet memories. Visit residents with a staff escort or independently, whichever you are most comfortable with.

Description
Jones-Harrison Residence (JHR) has been a loving and gracious home to seniors in the Minneapolis community for more than 125 years. JHR is a nonprofit organization offering skilled care, assisted living, and rehabilitation services for 225 residents. We offer a broad range of services for older adults with innovative programs in memory-loss and arthritis care (which includes warm water therapy and a full-service fitness center).
