Come have fun at the English Learning Center and share your love of reading with adult immigrants learning English.
As a reading circle tutor, you will be matched with 3-4 students to assist in helping students meet individualized goals, tailoring the sessions to meet student expectations. Tutors also educate students in distinguishing the phonemes (sound) letters make on their own and when combined as well as concentrating on reading comprehension and writing skills.
Our spring semester runs from January 16 - April 26
We are seeking a Monday morning Reading Circle Teacher from 8:15-9:15. Orientation and material are provided on site. Commitment is once per week for the duration of the semester.
