Do you have a knowledge and passion for history and nature? Do you love sharing your knowledge with young people? Then San Jacinto Battleground and Battleship TEXAS State Historic Site's Summer Camp Volunteer position is the perfect fit for you!
Major Duties:
* Support staff with set-up and take down of summer camp activities.
* Assist in programming to create a safe and fun environment for campers.
* Provide leadership and participate in activities.
Requirements:
* Summer Camp Volunteers must be 16 years old and up.
* Must be able to pass a state mandated criminal background check.
* Must attend a volunteer orientation prior to summer camp beginning.

Description
Battleship Texas took part in some of the most significant naval battles of the 20th century during both world wars. Now docked along the Houston Ship Channel, she serves as a memorial to those turbulent times.
