For the second straight summer, the Dreamplex is teaming up with Real Life Christian Church to offer a five week basketball clinic for our special needs athletes ages 4-adult. The clinic will be held Tuesday evenings beginning June 6 th and conclude on July 11 th (no session on July 4 th) with separate times for our younger athletes and older athletes. Each athlete will be paired with a buddy as they learn and practice the fundamentals of dribbling, passing, shooting, and more.
This is a great opportunity for high school students looking for volunteer hours! Volunteers should be at least 15 years old and have a friendly and fun attitude to assist with the children. No basketball skills are required. We would like for any volunteers who sign up to attend at least three of the five sessions. A mandatory training will be held Friday, June 2nd, 6:30 pm at the Central Florida Dreamplex. Address is 2400 S. Hwy 27 Suite B201 Clermont, FL 34711

Description
The Central Florida Dreamplex is a fitness and recreational facility specifically for individuals and families with special needs and physical disabilities. We provide special-interest classes in tae kwon do, cheerleading, gymnastics/tumbling, ballet, hip-hop, and more! We offer after school programs, open gym nights, and other events throughout the year to bring together parents and families with special needs.
