Mission Statement
Starflower Experiences, Inc. is a Long Island-based not-for-profit educational organization with an environmental focus. Our aim is to help people understand some basics about how our planet works ecologically, encourage them to appreciate our natural places, and to take steps that help them lessen their impact on the natural systems and processes of the earth
Description
Starflower Experiences offers educational opportunities: presentations and programs for schools, summer programming, seminars and discussion groups for adults, and family events like our annual environmental fair. We operate mainly in western Suffolk and Nassau counties with a focus around our base at Manor Farm, Huntington. We are also Park Stewards for two parks abutting Manor Farm.
