Mission Statement

"H.O.P.E.S (Helping Other People Exist Securely) Homeless Bound-My Home is Near" is a non-profit organization whose sole purpose is to Locate, Renovate, and/or Build homes for our homeless population of Cumberland county in the cities of Fayetteville and Hope Mills, North Carolina. H.O.P.E.S plan is to educate and assist in the transition of our homeless into becoming productive members of society.

Description

Purpose:

Building homes for the homeless -- helping our less fortunate to once again become a productive part of a dream we call -- the American dream. Throughout life, we encounter many trials and tribulations. I believe that everyone runs into life challenges, and life happens to all. As someone who has been blessed to not ever have to experience the heart break of living on the streets, I want to do all I can to help those who are less fortunate. I have seen so many people on the streets and I have seen so many organizations who offer temporary solutions to their problems. These people have had the tragedy of life hitting them in a way we would never understand. "Homeless Bound-My Home is Near" is going to not only find a place for our less fortunate to sleep, but to have a place they can call home.



H.O.P.E.S is set up to serve all of our homeless veterans and the entire homeless communities. I want to start in the city and state in which I have lived. Within the next 5 years, I am looking to spread throughout the US and potentially, worldwide. I am aware that my organization may not be the one who starts in another state, but if I can put the awareness out there with a feasible solution, I will work to provide all the necessary information to anyone who has the desire and willingness to see this all the way through so that we can become a greater and stronger America.
