Are you passionate about helping people rise out of poverty, or perhaps an entrepreneur who seeks a unique impact on the world? The mission of On Common Ground (OCG) is to improve the lives of adults who are experiencing poverty by fostering and encouraging the active involvement of the local community in 1:1 unpaid relationships through our Mentor Center. We believe that the condition of any one life will affect the lives of the whole community. OCG is seeking a VISTA Volunteer who will help us build capacity by developing our ability to demonstrate the value of our service to potential funders in order to reliably finance, improve, and expand our program model. We know we are doing good and important work and that lives are changing for the better but that is not enough. We need the help of an individual who is committed to developing a collection system that will utilize data to best present the impact to potential donors and funders in order to bring this valuable service to others. While existing service agencies are generally restricted on what they can do, ours is holistic and integrated in its approach helping to wrap around the valuable resources they provide to improve their futures.

Our goal is to change lives one story at a time...will you be the person that it is helping to rewrite it? If so, contact us now, we are waiting for you.
