Licensed Massage Therapists for Dempsey Challenge event

We are looking for licensed massage therapists to volunteer for 2 hours shifts giving our event participants and cancer survivors 10 minute massages during the Dempsey Challenge. The Challenge is a two day run, walk and ride fundraising event for the Dempsey Cente, a cancer support organization in Maine which provides free support and education to anyone impacted by cancer. After event participants cross the finish line, we have a massage and Reiki tent available for them to partake in short massages. This service is also available to cancer survivors who are attending the event.

We supply all necessary materials, but do ask that LMTs bring their tables if possible (we do have some available as well). We also allow LMTs to hand out business cards and wear branded apparel or place a small sign near their table within the tent to promote their business/services.

Volunteers should be willing to work in all weather conditions. We do not solicit tips for massage services.
