Join us at Frogtown Park and Farm for a fun-filled Backyard Celebration!
This event features Frogtown neighborhood board elections, food, activities, fun for kids, entertainment, and an introduction to the new Nature Based Play area in the park!
Volunteers for the Backyard Celebration will be needed throughout the day in shifts to assist with set-up, event activities, and tear-down. Set-up will include setting up tables, tents and chairs, creating welcome areas and exhibits and setting up event signage. Other roles include assisting the visitors with wayfinding; staffing welcome tents; assisting caterers with set-up and serving;and more. There will be also be volunteer shifts available ahead of event day to distribute posters, signs and flyer the neighborhood.
Saturday June 3rd, 2017: Day-of event event-up from 8:30am - 11am
Saturday June 3rd, 2017: Event support from 10:30 am -2pm
Saturday June 3rd, 2017: Post event tear-down 2- 4pm
